Mohd Ashraf is a Malaysian lawyer with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) and a Bachelor of Laws in Shari’ah (LLB_S) degree from the same university. Ashraf has been an active student, having held the position of Vice President of the Law Students’ Society (LAWSOC) at IIUM for the 2010-2011 term.
He was called to the Malaysian Bar and admitted to the roll of Advocates and Solicitors in July 2014, after completing his pupilage at Abu Talib Shahrom. Ashraf has since worked with Azmi & Associates and has been involved in various assignments, including legal due-diligence exercises, corporate restructuring exercises, advising on financing facilities, and advising on the management and distribution of assets under Faraid, Hibah, and Wasiat.
Ashraf has advised clients in various sectors, including the oil and gas industry, telecommunications, agriculture, and manufacturing. He has also advised clients based in Malaysia and from countries such as Norway, Japan, China, Turkey, and the United States.
